The trustee of Getin Noble Bank SA w upadłości, Marcin Kubiczek, decided the tender for the office part of the famous, 212-meter Sky Tower skyscraper in Wrocław. The starting price was PLN 54 million net.
The tender for the property in the Sky Tower office building in Wrocław was announced on December 9, 2024 by Sax Development, whose sole shareholder is the bankrupt Getin Noble Bank. The property for sale consists of 9 office premises and 60 garage spaces. The starting price was PLN 54 million net. On January 15, 2025, the buyer was selected in the tender.
The office part of Sky Tower is a very attractive asset, because it is 8.4 thousand sq. m of usable space in the fifth tallest building in Poland and the second outside Warsaw. It is a prestigious property, additionally connected to a commercial, service and recreational complex.
The office part of Sky Tower, the tallest building in Wrocław, belonged to the assets of the bankrupt Getin Noble Bank through Sax Development. There are still about 650 properties for sale – mainly taken over as security for debt repayment from entities that did not repay loans. By selling these assets, the GNB trustee plans to gain at least over PLN 300 million for the bankruptcy estate.
The efficient conduct of this tender and settlement of the transaction are crucial from the perspective of the bankruptcy estate of Getin Noble Bank SA w upadłości. The tender committee selected the most advantageous offer in terms of price, which was the main criterion. The GNB’s trustee is qualified restructuring advisor Marcin Kubiczek.
